IC Info

Name: Allura
Canon: Voltron: Legendary Defender
Age: Never specified. Estimated to be the human equivalent of 17-20-ish (Alteans are like elves in that they have lifespans much longer than a human's)
Appearance: Link Allura is a young woman of slight build and stands at about 5'5” tall. She is small yet fierce, with teal eyes, and a piercing gaze (and those that get close enough will notice that her pupils are purple). Her hair is curly and white, and she has two small pink markings under her eyes. She normally dresses in either a formal dress, or a jumpsuit.
Canon Point: End of Season 8 (spoilers ahoy!)
Background: Link

Personality: Although her appearance is that of a refined noble, Allura is stubborn and very much bull-headed, and cannot be easily swayed once she has her mind set on things (even if those things involve putting herself in extreme danger). She is a highly reactive person, and is much more likely to go with her instinct than to spend a lot of time deliberating and making plans. Still, she is a deeply caring and curious person, and under her often too-serious expression, she is still very much young at heart and is just as likely to join in a food fight, or any other silly shenanigans the other Paladins have going on.

**As a note! (I wasn't sure where else to put this) In season 8, Allura absorbs a malevolent dark entity that has historically driven other characters to some pretty heinous actions, and (presumably) increases Allura's level of aggression when when finally confronts Zarkon. Canon does not resolve this plotline and Allura sacrifices herself at the end of canon so it is largely nebulous to what extent this dark entity can influence her. This is part of the reason I wanted to app Allura into this game, to play more with the dark-entity angle. Obviously I'm not going to just make her ooc and suddenly evil for no reason whatsoever, but letting it help stoke her aggression in certain circumstances, and maybe angling it into part of her redemption/corruption plotline here.

Weaknesses/Temptations: As with most do-gooder heroes, standard answers like “her friends”, “the good of the universe”, “her mission” but Allura takes it to a self-destructive degree. She would very literally do a deal with the devil if she truly thought that it would help someone else or accomplish her goals. Using the well-being of others, even strangers, is the most sure-fire way for her to stray from her own personal salvation. In addendum, she is also fairly easy to manipulate as long as she can be convinced it's for the greater good. She helps a villain create a powerful weapon because he convinces her that it will help bring peace to the universe, and it's shown in alternate realities that Allura is capable of leading a whole nation to use their technology to subvert the free-will of more violent species, because it brings peace to the whole universe.

Limited, but she does have a slightly vindictive streak, especially under the effects of the Dark Entity, and although if she's given the time to think about it, Allura would not be tempted too greatly by vengeance, her hot-headed nature could very easily subvert her own moral alignment and cause her to make more ruthless decisions in the heat of the moment, especially when she's been personally wronged. (see: instigating the fight with Lotor, every interaction with Zarkon.)

She also has a fondness for milkshakes and sparkly things.

Sins: (I can expand on these if necessary! I wasn't sure if you wanted a list or otherwise!)
Inaction
Indirect cause of death(s) (On a genocidal scale)
Destabilized a nation
Corruption (Literally absorbed an evil dark entity)
Wrath
Pride
Self-Destruction
Suicide by proxy

Powers/Abilities: As a forward: Allura’s powers are vast and not incredibly well defined. They’re often used as a deus-ex-machina in canon. In short she can be OP as hell, albeit in very specific circumstances. Obviously things that powerful/game-breakingly powerful won’t be coming into play here as they often requires at least some degree of access to other parts of Altean technology to amplify or as a conduit for her powers. She will only have herself to rely on here so the powers most likely to come into play are:

Shapeshifting – Presumably limited size and color. More chameleon than Mistique from X-men.

Superior Strength – Allura has shown the ability to not only throw people who are significantly larger than herself, but also the ability to bend metal with her hands ( Not with any degree of finesse but still worth noting)

Quintessence/Life Manipulation - In canon, Quintessence is the strongest form of energy that permeates every living thing, and while all Alteans have a connection with it, Allura’s is nearly prodigious. On her own she is capable of bringing someone back from the brink of death, cause a bare tree to sprout, etc, In the context of the game, I mostly see this being used in the form of minor healing (they still use stasis chambers for major injuries so it's clear she's not a fix-all) and largely for flavor text of feeling the energy in things.

Aside from her powers, Allura is also an accomplished pilot and hand-to-hand combatant (mostly using whips and staves but she is studied in a variety of weapons). Allura is also immune to getting brain freeze when eating ice cream too quickly (the most powerful of abilities).

Items: the blue Bayard (a shapeshifting weapon that all paladins have) and pink paladin armor.
